It's unbeatable combination of light weight, total fingerboard access, and fat nasty tones made it every kid's dream, and a rock player's best friend. This SG Special is based on the historic SG of the early 60's. It has the 60' slim taper neck with reissue appointments. Add to it the unique versatility of a varitone switch, custom made tortoise shell pickguard, and the flare of chrome P-90 pickup covers, and you have the rock sound that made the SG required equipment over 30 years, again required today.
