I LOVE this version of All Along the Watchtower!!! That sustaining vibrato note midway is crucial!! I've seen this Bromont show many times over the years. Is Bromont a suburb of Montreal?

It's more than likely to be a suburb or borough or something. Montreal has many different areas. It used to be Canada's largest city. Toronto took over that spot quite some years ago (probably sometime in the late 1980's?). I like the song Dragonfly. It has that kind of funky beat to it. All the songs on here are great! Glad you're enjoying bro.;):thumb:

That's quite the song list, but there's probably unreleased material that's digitally remastered on that 2 CD set. I'll have to keep my eye open for that set because all the songs in this concert are kick-ass! I'm sure I'll enjoy the whole CD set.;) Good to see some Frank Marino fans on this forum. It was actually another member on here that got me into Frank. BTW, you might know this, but for others, the other guitarist in the band is Frank's brother, Vince Marino who's quite the guitar player himself.:jam:

Yeah, I heard that he's the other guitarist. He's a bloody good player too. Hard to decide who's better!
If you can find the 2 CD set of Maxoom, it's definitely worth it. Can't remember if the 2 CD set was a limited edition though.:dunno:

I wonder if it was a double vinyl album?:dunno: At least I know what the cover looks like. Here's a pic for reference. I'm assuming your's is the same?:thumb:

That version of Maxoom is actually the Maxoom and Strange Universe albums combined. There is another that has those two albums plus Child of the Novelty on 2 cd's at Amazon.com

Hey, check this out!:hmm: I just noticed his bridge & neck pickup on his guitar are both turned around for that double out-of-phase tone. Now we know the secret to his unique sound.:applause:
