Full pickguard

    a friend of mine will give me a full sg pickguard, i would know if a pickguard of sg standard fit on my g400? i read that the i'll have to enlarged the bridge stud hole and redrill the hole. After that the standard sg pickguard will fit?

    you might have to enlarge the bridge studs.

    Yep. Enlarge bridge stud holes, and on some G400s you also have to slightly enlarge the pickup holes, and trim the top of the pickguard where it meets the neck.

    You will also have to drill new holes and there is a possibility that the existing holes will have to be filled as at least one of them will be visible. There's an Elitist SG on ebay at the moment that has had a full pick guard installed and the pics may give you idea of what to expect.
