I also love 6100 wire. I use 008 strings and also play with a light touch.
That's what works for me.
I had my 1986 SG62 refretted with 6100 SS frets. It plays amazing (buttah) and the SS frets will never wear out. I had it refretted about 5 or 6...
No experience with any of those guitar but my Gibson Midtown Standard with P90s sounds amazing!
