Had mine about a week now.
I can only reiterate on what 58pit said. Just a great guitar all around. A real joy to play this one.
I had a 2018 Standard. I much preferred the 57's in my 2017; so I exchanged it for the 2018 HP. Which in my opinion IS AWESOME!
No, and I doubt I ever will. I'm a big fan of the 57's
I have a 2018 HP:
Where they put the strap button made it dive worse than any SG I've ever played. It was almost unplayable.
I moved it to the...
the 2017s are definitely a thin profile. I have 2.
I had a 2013 and from what I can remember of it they are very close / if not exactly the same
Just got one myself recently.
Great, great guitar. Perfect specs in my opinion.
Any advice would be great.
Total newbie to slide.
My main first issue is how to set up my guitar better for slide.........
I can't get any good...
Just curious .......
After all these years and different guitars I feel at home on an SG. Maybe I'll go all in ! Sell the others and pick up a few...
I ended up getting the SG Special limited edition Ebony from AMS.
Has the neck I like and the classic 57s. And I got a good price.
I'm able to check out the P90 guitar in person later today.
Looking forward to that!
Now I've come across a 2016 Standard with P90's. As well as the SG CM -
Tough decisions ...........
No chance to play both and I know I'm a slim taper neck guy.
I have a shot to get one or the other.
The differences I know about are the gig bag with the 2016 and the bat pick guard; as well as different...
Yes it's a 2017
Always wanted a white SG.
Just picked up this 2017 Sam Ash exclusive.
Love everything about it !
Just brought it home! Looks to be a 1999. The ones without any issues.
Sounds good but only had a few minutes with it so far.
I have a chance to grab one of these used and wanted some opinions.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking now.
or for a few a little more maybe a used Townsend.
Its a 2011 and he says it has the slim taper neck. (which I love on my 2013 standard)
Is that description of the neck correct?
