I'm not Epi bashing or talking smack about peoples' choices, but I am fully expecting the common reply of "My Epi plays better than ANY Gibson!"...
Maybe referring to these? (Not my pic).
Even with all the other fiddles I have, that Classic in green is calling my name! Good thing for my wallet, it appears to be sold out everywhere.
That's cuz it's the same shape. DeArmond is to Guild, what Epi is to Gibson. Then the Fender purchase happened, and they spat out some Squiers...
I feel like you already decided it's a 67, cuz those are the only two poll options!
My first was a cheap Yamaha, I believe, acoustic. Second was a white G-310, back when they had the black plastic covered pickups. Third, my 94 SG...
It was on that more modern model. I have one in that same blue from 2013.
I feel like you could get the same effect with much less work/hassle by just dropping the neck volume to zero, so...what am I missing here?
I misread the title as "A NUDE!" and opened the thread looking for bewbs. *le sigh* I guess a pelham SG will have to do.
What, no binding?
I believe it was only available on the early reissues, ya know before the wider neck, squared off fretboard ends, and SDs in flat covers,...
Well, if you're ever up near Harrisburg, PA, I have a 00 white S-100, along with multiple early reissues, if you want to compare!
When you get it, pop the back cover, and see if JT marked it.
Shhhh. Let people think they're duds. More for us. :naughty:
That isn't "reliced". That thing was set on fire by some moron.
That's a lotta 'hog ripped out in the name of tuning convenience/laziness. Also, thought these had an Iommi in the bridge? Seller lists it as a 57...
Anywhere in the world? Greg Platzer, BCR Music and Sound. I wouldn't leave my guitars anywhere else, vintage or otherwise.
The previous owner fixed the weak pickup issue on mine. :-)
I wish when they did vintage style stuff, they'd not only take into account the body shape and cosmetic features, but also...the heel shape.
Judging by the heel shape, 68-69. I chase SGs with that heel. Those necks feel the best in my hand.
Separate names with a comma.
