Picked this beauty up on Reverb the other day for a steal! I'm really digging it!
I've always wanted a vintage Gibson SG Junior in TV Yellow! So hard to find and so expensive! I was lucky enough to get a great deal on this keeper.

First time I see a real one. Can I come over and just touch it ?

And welcome here Devilbat66, you just made one of the best first impression of all time on this forum. You fit right in, right now.

Oh yeah ... how does it sound ? Will we be fortunate enough to get an ear taste of that P90 ?

That thing rules! I have a '61 too but mines had a much harder life, great guitars though. Yours is a bit earlier than my # 41994, they must have made alot of guitars in '61.
Also mine has the standard Les Paul Jr. decal.

It looks like the neck joint has been routed or scalloped on the one side and then filled. Or is that an optical illusion?
