Hey everyone, this is my 95 I bought new . I haven't seen a lot of the Koreans with the dot inlays posted. Hoping to see some put up if ya got'em!

I have changed all the pots and bridge and control knobs thru the years. Currently sports Epi Dot (57chG) buckers in both positions, not the greatest. I have put everything from Super Distortions to Duncan Screamin Demons in it...Decided to take it back to somewhat stock.

    Rock On!

I had this beauty for a while. Wood grain was beautiful and as said JohnnyGooGooGooDoo, no veneer on those. But unfortunatly, it was a little too heavy for my taste, almost Les Paul's territory. I sold it and found a G400 Vintage, which plays better and is much lighter.

Welcome, Easy E. Thanks for sharing your Epi SG and details.
I haven't played one but having an Epi LP I can say it has to play nicely.

Mine used to go out of tune a lot...but that has mellowed in 33 years...

I think mine went out of tune a lot too in the past 33 years, albeit it was with her previous husband and her 3 kids. With me she is way calmer and glad to have my calm influence. Sometimes her self induced liberal philosophy and constant monitoring and worry about how awful she thinks certain male presidential candidates are accused of riles up her out of tune reactions. When this happens, I do my best to put my headphones on and go to my happy place of Floyd, Zep, Yes, Rush etc decibel land and just ignore her useless self tormenting.

It looks like Easy E has taken leave for the night, but hopefully when he returns we can hear more stories of his enjoyment of his '95 Korean SG.

PS. My cousin Mike has a sweet Filipino wife he met while in Clark AFB over there in the 80's. She has adapted and become Americanized very well since they moved back to Ohio and started a family.

I've turned mine into a staunch Republican...it was easy since I met her when she was 18...and she knows men talk like Trump in the locker room and doesn't hold it against us...because as the song goes "After all he's just a man"

Hope we haven't derailed the new guys thread too bad...here's a couple real SG's for him to look at...

I am not going to derail Mr EasyE's thread too much about our '64 Koreans. Let me just finish by saying, mine would sadly relate more to songs like Helen Reddy's I am Woman... than to the likes of Wang Dang Sweet Poon Tang or Stranglehold.
