Has anyone got any experience of (or thoughts on) using a blend pot instead of a 3-way selector switch on a 2-pickup guitar? I like the idea of sweeping through the graduations from neck, through both, to bridge, instead of just switching neck/both/bridge.

My P-bass has that. The sweep pot has a detent notch at dead centre to make it easy to find. It works OK, but I don't find myself making much use of the blended positions.

I like 3 volume and one tone , I can blend to taste, but, w/ one tone I do have a hand tied
