Some blues from the master for my Trude girl. An elderly shepard mix dog we rescued found wandering the rough and tumble streets of Richmond's south side. She has a spinal tumor and will be euthanized here at home in a few days. Sweetest and most gentle creature to come from such a harsh area.

Sorry to hear about your pooch. Never easy losing a pet. Especially a good dog...

Thanks man. She wasn't able to come home for a final weekend. Her pain from cancer became unmanageable. These were her final moments in the pics below. She got to leave this world in a nice grassy field with birds singing and gentle breezes. These were taken a few minutes before the sedative and then the barbituates were administered. She was my daughter since I don't have children. Many don't understand...I view those who don't as empty vessels who I'd never turn my back to.

I know how it feels to have a pet die. It sure is heart-wrenching. At least your dog had a very good life with you.
