The guitarist indeed is John Andrews and that show was recorded in Berlin in 2010. Singer Nena was 50 then. Not bad eh?

That is a tough language to make sexy but she still gets it done.

Looks like a headless Steinberger. They were all the rage for a very short time in the 80s. That was original guitarist Carlo Karges. He died in 2002. The year my SG Standard was made.

As a german I would really like to be able to temporarily "unlearn" the language and hear it with your ears to know what you mean. :hmm:

Well she did a version of it in English at the same time when it was first released in the 80s, so you can listen to that and kind of get the reverse angle effect lol.

Well that may not work if he speaks English better than we can.

Hmm.....well, maybe this will help you get the perspective? Of course, German was the only class I ever had to repeat when in college (and I took 6 darn Calculus classes without having to repeat!).

This is very exaggerated but hilarious non the less :lol:
I can imagine how hard it is to learn German as a foreign language. There are so many things in it that don't make sense at all. Being a native german speaker and learning englisch as foreign language is definetly the easier way :D

The English version was released a bit later after the original came out. They lyrics for the Englisch version are different from the original. The theme is similar, but the English version is a bit more political.
