No doubt about it. My cat the day my first SG arrived:

A month or two latter, I'm sure there's a hint of a smile as I take the photos to sell my Strat:

In the past I had an LP, Flying V, Explorer.
My cat preferred the Flying V.

Haven't been around in a couple of years, but I've been playing my SG a lot recently and I thought I should drop by. Seeing that I own 8 cats, this topic post my eye immediately, of course.

Here's Googlie - one of my two favorites (and the only cat allowed in the studio).

And here's Marshall with my wife's practice bass.

Unfortunately, no shot of any of them with my SG.

Haha, great! Eight cats waiting for an ergometrically optimized cat/SG-case to chill in, hehe.. Guess Googli will be first in line? ;)

    Btw, thats triple-P-90-fitted ES-ish guitar ..?
    Three P-90s in a row - thats attitude!:D

Epiphone Riviera. A lovely guitar, though my bad right shoulder doesn't allow me to play it as often as I would like. It's crazy how a body that just a bit thicker makes a whole lot of difference in the angle of your elbow and forearm (picking hand) and can incapacitate you. Yet another reason to love the SG...

True indeed. That Epi is surely a cool guitar, but how can one not prefer an SG? ;)
