Just joined the forum, thought I’d say hi...

I’m coming back to the guitar after 20 years away and treated myself to my dream guitar straight off - an SG400 Pro! I’m running it through a Boss GT100 pedal and into a 15watt practice amp. Some of the gear, very little idea

Over the years I’ve been influenced by SG icons like Pete Townsend, Angus Young, Kelly Jones and (on a more local level) Mike Wilton from the Standard Lamps.

Looking forward to learning more about my guitar and how to get the best out of it, here on the forum!

Welcome back! I spent about 15 years away from music, and I hope to never repeat that mistake.

I was fortunate and privileged to play the guitar professionally for more than thirty five years. I'm not rich or famous but I wouldn't trade my life for anyone else's. Played a 1967 Gibson SG Standard Maestro from 1967 to 1988. She covered any style of music, rock, hard rock, country, jazz, old standards. Wish we were back on the road.
