... And I have the PICKUPS and the WIRING HARNESS leftover.

    Gibson 490R/490T "Modern Classic" Pickups

This is a set of Gibson humbucking pickups, 490R/490T. They just came out of a 2009 SG Special. Gibson’s 490R and 490T "Modern Classic" pickups and have the traditional characteristics of the original “Patent Applied For” pickups of the late 1950s.

These pickups feature the quick-connect ends, for super-easy installation, or if you prefer to solder them in you can simply snip off the clip ends and install them that way. The leads are the full original length. Mounting screws and springs are included.

Seriously, a steal at $125 (paypaled and shipped CONUS). These will run you $250 new from Gibson.

    Reach out with questions.

I did the same to my Special, replaced the pickups (they are in my HSH Strat now) pulled out the circuit board and replaced with CTS pots and a Switchcraft switch and jack.

That guitar is rock solid now, the Strat also kicks ass!

I used the Gibson 490R and 490T pickups from my SG special to upgrade my
stepdaughter's Epiphone Les Paul Special ll. They sound great in the Epiphone!
Plenty of sustain, and fine clear tones in the highs mids and lows.

These would be a good choice for anyone who's upgrading a guitar whose hum buckers
    seem too 'ceramic" sounding.

Either one would also be a good choice for upgrading a Strat with space for a
    hum bucker at the bridge.
