I've almost completely cleaned up my effects noise and tone-sucking.
The only culprit left is my old Dunlop GCB-95 Cry Baby, which is not a true bypass pedal and affects my tone while in the off position.
I've read that the Vox v848 Clyde McCoy wah is true bypass.
    Anyone can confirm this please?
And if you have any opinion to share, what's your view on the Cry Baby vs Vox wah issue?
I know it's always all subjective to that cosmic perfect tone in our individual heads, but just for fun.....
I've never used a Vox wah so can't comment myself.

I had a crybaby (Thomas Organ Co.) for twenty years or so, got a vox wah last year... The Vox is much more responsive I.M.H.O. 8)

I lost my CB a couple years ago and replaced it with a VOX- I definitely think the Vox is more responsive and better built. I remember having to replace the CB's pot because it got sick- Haven't had any trouble with the Vox and I've had it the same amount of time.
Don't know if it's true bypass though. If you're looking to bypass some good effects that aren't TB, check out http://www.loooper.com .

Well, I purchased the Clyde McCoy Vox Wah today.
I've only fiddled with it for an hour or so, but as everybody stated, this thing is really responsive compared to the CB.
Wow, my foot's gotta relearn everything now, lol.
    A very good buy.
    Thanks for the help.
