How do I edit my older posts to update (replace) the photos?
I organized my Photobucket pages and seem to have broken all the links to my previous photos.

You can't edit any post after 24 hours (I think)
Only way is to report your own post and ask a Mod to edit the post....

Yikes, that would be every thread I've ever posted a pic in.
Oh well, people will just have to imagine what the pics looked like until I have a way to re add them.

It's funny, most of the ancient threads I've tried to read were yours. Needless to say I was bummed to see all the links broken.

This has been quite frustrating to be honest. I have an ongoing thread from December 2016 about a re-sculpting, refinish job on an SG, and the photo links are broken, but I can't relink anything.

This basically kills photo based threads, and devalues the forum's usefulness by quite some measure.

Upload pics to an album on the forum and re-post maybe?

Would only work for the odd thread like the refinish thread mentioned, but possibly a way to resurrect it?

I tend to upload any images on each post, so hopefully they'll be available for a fair while...

I didn't know you could create photo albums here on the forum... Gotta look into that.

Right, if the thread isn't 50 pages long, add a response with the missing images by uploading them directly in your response (Upload a File button at bottom of window)

Yep, on top of page, just below the red SG with horns, there's the Media page button.

Thanks, Dr! I'll just upload the "before" pictures in the Greco thread when the job is finished.

How do you start a new thread, or topic?

Click on a forum and at the top right of the page, there is a red button, Post New Thread.
