Hello, does anyone here own or have experience of one of these? your thoughts would be appreciated. A pretty faithful reproduction ot the 62 version with Mini humbuckers and epiphone designed tremotone vibrato.

Every one of the guitars from that “faithful reissue” line has been really impressive.

I agree, wouldn't mind owning the rest of the series.

    I owned a 2006 Epiphone Wilshire replica
    and loved the instrument.

I ended modding mine heavily, just to improve some of
the features and install exactly what I wanted. But the instrument responded really well to mods and I ended up
with a very cool custom guitar that was unlike any other.

Early sixties Epiphones were made in Kalamazoo at the same plant and
by the same small group of luthiers and crafts people that made the early
sixties Gibsons (and the fifties Gibsons). Paul McCartney said that he and
George and John all bought Epiphones then because (from a British POV)
Epiphones were considered "like Gibsons, but better..." *grins

I found mine used at my local music-go-round, hanging on a rack with a bunch of off brand entry level instruments, looking like a college girl in the drunk tank
on a Saturday morning, in a cell full of hookers.

I took the lady home, and she was VERY grateful.

If it wasn’t for the SG, I would have a wall full of Wilshire/Crestwoods.

Pete Townsend was excited when Gibson bought Epiphone because he could get the mini humbuckers from Epiphone in a Gibson SG...
