I know Epiphone made some SG Juniors with P90's around 97-98 then made some Juniors with humbuckers around 2005-2006. I believe the P90 ones may have been made in Korea whereas the newer ones in Indonesia?

Anyway, has anyone played both (or either) and can comment on them? Would love a single pickup SG.....

You can never go wrong with a P90 equipped SG.

Mine is a Custom Shop, 2011 I think, bought used a few months ago. Ok its a bolt on special; I dont know what the custom shop designation was supposed to imply.
Basswood body, China or Indonesia, nothing special. Very nice neck and fretwork. Real nice playing guitar.
the tuners were crap, not suprised.
It had the 700t HB, which wasnt bad if not too high cause its pretty hot.
I got this specifically to put a HB sized P90 in it.
I found a used GFS Mean 90, I absolutely love it.

I think they are basically the same guitars. P90s came in black, cherry and TV Yellow. Humbucker ones, no yellow.
It was meant to be a P90 weapon.
