To me it looks quite strange..not few details are not right to me. It is sold as a Gibson SG Standard 2006....what do you think?

    Yeah thats definitely a fake.
First of all, that headstock is MASSIVE. Also, the inlays are all wonky and off centre. The pickup mounting rings are also wrong too, there are only meant to be two chrome screws on each ring (the others are meant to be black), this one has four. Only Epiphone pickup rings look like this. The 2006 SG Standards had a full face guard and witch hat reflector knobs (assuming this is meant to be a standard, this doesn't look like a special). The logo should also be a MOP inlay, if this is meant to be a standard. Obviously these could be modifications but realistically it seems like a knock off.

    Hope this helps

Search on aliexpress.com or alibaba.com for SG and you'll see hundreds of "Made in USA" Gibsons to compare it to. Interesting that it comes with a Gibson USA case.

Did you actually buy the guitar?

If you had a picture with the bridge in focus, there's a mother dead giveaway. As it stands, I can tell you the intonation is FUBAR.

Not that, it's just most of the fakes are shipped in a box or come with a gig bag, meaning the case would've been purchased separately. Nvm I realize now how dumb the original statement was.

Only 3 bad pics? I'd definitely stay away.

I had a buddy that bought a copy and it came with a gibson custom LP case. There is a checkmark on the sale for hardcase included. They basically feel like an epiphone case with a gibson logo. Interestingly, they wont sell them separately (shipping is prohibitively expensive). I played this guitar for a few months, it was a spiderman custom (LOL) but it had single binding, unbound neck, and a wraparound bridge that was placed too far from the neck. Included were counterfeit epiphone pickups too! The thing played and sounded like a disaster...

Also, the serial number stamp looks like the fakes I've seen. Just the way its stamped in (deep) and the way it breaks the finish. I don't have a real gloss gibson to compare but it looks like the fake one I had. I also can't tell if those are metric bridge poles (larger than gibsons') from the shitty pictures. I'd ask for a closeup picture of the bridge and the truss rod nut if I was you. Those are tell tale signs. Sometimes people find odd models that are sold as standards but are different specs (guitar of the week etc...) but the truss rod nut never lies (in my experience!).

Input the serial number into google and you'll find many other guitars with the same serial being asked about. I am unsure why the fakes repeat the same serials but they do.

Looks like it's supposed to be a '61 reissue. The bridge is a dead giveaway, and the pickguard is the wrong shape as well. No chance it's real.

Not only that, but look at the closeup of the headstock...
look at the "carving" on the tip of the headstock. Definitely fake.
The edges on a real Gibson are sharp and cleanly cut, and very
distinctive. This "instrument" is worth nothing.

And it is a criminal act. The few idiots who would pay 900 Euros for this
POS would be victims of swindle. Imagine some lovely and idealistic young
woman, who buys this for her true love, hoping to support his dreams of
Artistic success by giving him the best. She doesn't know about fake Gibsons,
    and believes the seller's lies....

Heartbreak for everyone. Prosecution for this kind of criminal activity should
be swift and decisive. Git a rope...

    Incorrect font on serial number.
Note the missing serif on bottom of the "1".
