Here are my Beatles-specific guitars (and bass).
(Yes, George played an SG, but my SG is not Beatles-specific so not in this photo.)

OK, I've seen enough. Time for some of you to answer some questions.

I have a number of guitars (17) and except for two Casinos they are all different. Thus I have 16 DIFFERENT guitars. I see here some of you guys have six or seven SGs. Slight variations in them, but nonetheless they are all SGs. I have to ask why? Why six of the same guitar? Why not a Les Paul, an Explorer, a Flying V, a Strat and just two SGs.

How can you justify seven of the same guitar?

    Same, but different.
    Different tunings.
    Different pickups.
    Different colors for different moods.

Explorer, Flying V, Les Paul, Tele, Strat.
Already had them in the past.
The SG suits me just fine.

This is pretty accurate... different pickups, tunings, and feel. But all within the basic framework of an SG, cuz we just dig 'em. I like Strats, but I love SGs.

I know, its weird to me too. I think a P90 and a humbucker SG is enough for any man... but some people just love em that much more. Strat lovers are like this too... ahahaha I think for performers it makes sense with alternate tunings, backups etc...

Like the others have said, tunings, colors, pickups, etc..

Also, you know that no two guitars are the same! Even identical guitars down to the same brand, style, nut and bolt (strings, wood, etc) will not feel or sound the same (neck, weight, wood variance) It's like this with rifles also. They can be identical and one will always shoot better than the other.

And besides, like what was previously posted, there's the junky factor, also know as GAS !

"Hello every one... My name is Arctic and I'm an SGoholic! :D

Not so much a Strat guy as a "guitar guy". You just happened to say "Strat", lol

Thanks! It's a 50s Classic Series in "JetStream Blue" though ;)
