ok... nothing with the fuzz yet, but here's a demo i put together... I screwed up the vocal track when i remixed it - so my voice is a bit muddy in places.

The reason for choosing this was that I used:

Rythym Guitar 1 : 1986 Fender Rosewood Tele
    Rythym Guitar 2 : 1990 Gibson Firebird V
    Lead: 1968 Gibson SG Standard
    Bass : 1979 Rickenbacker 4001
Amp: 1982 Fender Blackface Concert and 1970s Vox Escort Bass
Keys : Korg M1 - "Vox Continental" patch

FX used: Session JD-10 mk2 (called a Morley JD-10 in the states) and a Univibe copy

    Vox: me
Female spoken voice sampled from 60s cult TV series "The Prisoner"

    Have a listen.....

    OMG,

All I need is one of those 60's oil on an overhead projector light show, some strobes and a few hits of LSD and I'm back in the 60's. The bass is so retro....LOL
I like the SG Standard doing the lead all fuzzed out.....
The single coil of the tele really sings out.....NICE!

    Holy FU@#

    That is really cool.
I'm writing this while listening to it for the third time........
That's a new record for me.

    OK I'm doing a 4th listen now....

Wasn't this performed at Woodstock? Was that then or now, maybe yesterday...damn flashbacks...

    LOL....cheers Spunky 8) 8) 8) :D :D :D :D

ANd Vox ... and Vic an Dr Ess and Skids (is this the Grammys?)
    NO....Thanks for that!!

By the time I got to Woodstock, they were all gone.... I arrived 5 years too late! But yeah, thats EXACTLY the sound I was trying to recreate... a kind of psychedelic Beatles meets Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd which is then hammered into by Husker Du. :) :) :) :)

FOUR Times Spunk? Thinks - I might have a hit record on my hands there! :) You want some more?

I'm going to post some more mp3s.... i'll try later on today or Sunday..... gotta do a few tasks for the Fragrant Mrs Brew first.... :?

But bakc to the original thread - remember: old junk from my attic... (ack) I mean.... hugely collectable and valuable vintage FX, how about this remnant from the "cobbled" section of the music technology super-highway.....

It's a Shin-ei "Resly Machine"... you guesed it - an early Japanese "Leslie" simulator. Its at least 30 years old.... mains powered. This one poowers up ok, but none of the rocker switches seem to do anything anymore.... bloody warranty has expired too.....
