    Dear SG fans,
for sale my 1988 Gibson SG 61/62 Reissue. I own the guitar since 1990.
    A short description:
    -SN: 81808561
-No broken headstock. Neck is sound and solid.
    -Neck is straight
    -Truss rod works properly
-The neck has the slim-ish profile (but not too thin; measurements available)
    -Wide nut
    -Large headstock with crown inlay
-Original pickups: "The Original" Bill Lawrence HB-L and HB-R circuit board
-Original electronics (pots, caps, switch, output plug)
-Original tuners (Tonepros available for upgrade if desired)
-Original bridge (Faber locking bridge available for upgrade if desired)
-Original tailpiece (Gotoh Alu taipiece available for upgrade if desired)
-Cosmetic: a few scratches here and there but minimal. Small chip inside part big horn.
-Re-fretted 1 months ago with Jescar FW55090 Stainless Steel. Fretboard and frets leveled with Plek machine (by Erik van der Haar of Haar Guitars, The Netherlands). Very expensive but worth it.
-It plays with a low action all the way up and down. Fantastic!
-Comes with original Gibson hard shell case
    -Ships from The Netherlands

Attached some pics. If you have specific requests, let me know.
If you have specific questions, I'll be happy to answer.

As for the designation: it has the wood features of the 62 RI but mounts the original pickups which apparently where used in the 90's 61 RI. So I don't know. All I know is that it feels great and sounds as it should! I participated in this discussion:
    http://www.everythingsg.com/forum/gibson-sg/17977-61-vs-62-reissue.html

You all know that these late 80's Re-Issues are great guitars, way better than the current, modern SG in my opinion. So I kindly ask you to come with serious offers.

I decided to sell it to finance a custom build guitar...

I look forward to your reactions.
    Daniele

    Thanks for your reaction.
First of all, according to the Official Vintage Guitar Magazine, this is a 62 Reissue:
    http://www.vintageguitar.com/wp-content/uploads/hi-res/12-priceguide2011pages.pdf

As for the price. In 2011 The Official Vintage Guitar Magazine estimated this SG model 1400-1550USD (see link above).
These are low-high values for a guitar in excellent conditions. Taking into account these values are 3years old but also that my guitar is not in mint conditions I will ask 1100Euro, S&H included in Europe. Seems a fare price...

To be honest I am not in the sell/buy guitar market. So what do you think would be a fare price then?
I have just checked on ebay and this model (but of more recent years) go for 1300-to-1700USD.

As I wrote 1100Euro would be including S&H in Europe (w/ tracking).
The fretwork with the Plek machine costed me 300Euro.
The frets are stainless steel which means endless fret life.

    Already thanks for your reply.
