    Hi all,

Time to move on the Epi SG I bought originally for spares for my '89 model. It turned out to be in great condition, so I hung on to it - well, as you'll know, I have a Gibson SG now, and that makes 4 SG's - so, time to move one on to a new owner.

I have it up on ebay uk for £150 (they can knock me down a bit ) but invite offers from forum members... always happy to help a fellow forumite out!

Happy to ship outside the uk if anyone is interested, but would have to get a quote for you first. Will ship for cost in the uk, and if it's a good offer, I might ship for free

    Anyhoo, Here's some pics...

Now on ebay uk as an auction, and it has a bid, so will sell on Monday.

Remember the CITES ban. You may want to rethink shipping out of country.

It's on for UK Shipping only Raiyn. Had been wondering about how to get certification for an older used guitar - or indeed if you can....

Could cause many problems for people if it's not possible

I've seen various things, but it boils down to - if it's your guitar that you're traveling with, it's shouldn't be any problem. However, selling or unaccompanied shipping is when problems occur.

Won't be a problem this time, already have 3 bids from UK bidders! Can't believe the number of watchers either, hoping for a few more bids 'last doors' - auction ends tomorrow evening, and it's a Bank Holiday over here, so hopefully folks will be in a spending mood :thumb:

So, how did it go? Insane bidding war?

You'd have thought so, the amount of watchers, but only the 3 original bids...

Hey ho, I didn't lose money on it, so not an issue.

It all goes in the guitar fund :D

Or the car fund, if it needs work - or replacing!

    Huh.....:hmm:

I'm not sure how I'd feel about that. A little competition would've been nice. Three bids? You got 3£ more than asking?

I got £12 more than I started the auction at, plus some for shipping, started it at what it owed me, so can't complain - guess I didn't get the right audience at the right time - can't win em all  & the winner is getting a very clean example of a G-310 and the total goes in the guitar / rainy day fund.

Or.... You could take the profits, go down to the Pub, have 3 pints and leave a bit of a tip. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky!

Nah, I'm not a big drinker - a 'cheap date' is the term I think!

Get lucky? You mean someone down the pub might have a nice Epi for sale? :naughty:

:D knowing my luck, out of the two options, it would be someone selling a guitar

    Quoted me, but said nothing....:hmm:

I know the feeling. I've turned my PC into a giant DVR, I'm behind on a lot of my shows - not Doctor Who, mind you, but the rest.
