If you know Jaguars, you'll know how difficult it is to find any example of the 'block and Bound' MIJ '66 Reissue in any condition, never mind one as fine as this. Made in Japan for the Japanese domestic market only, Fender USA banned the importation of these guitars as the standard of build is so high. They eventually relented but only allowed a small number to be imported. To personally import one of these yourself and only IF you can find someone in Japan to organise it, it would cost you more than buying an American Jag. This example is in near mint condition with only the very faintest signs of use if you can find any at all. Fully functional, it has been modified with the 'Staytrem' bridge, an essential upgrade that enhances the playability of this fantastic guitar. The original bridge is also included in the sale as well as the original tremolo arm. Three tone sunburst in colour, it sports the original tortoise shell pickguard and has had the benefit of a recent set up. No issues what so ever, this is probably the best example of this model in the country today. Looking for £699 which will include courier costs within the UK. Any questions, please drop me a line.
