This all done On an apple mini studio with an M-audio input. Im using toon track drum mods and e-z mix for my overall sound. This song was recorded and mixed in about 8 hours total from inception of original idea to final product. I know its still al little rough and raw, but thats the vibe I like...Its a 61 SG re-issue and the Sg solid maple select for both guitar tracks.

    Nice work.

What did you use for mixing - reverbs, compression? Did you do any mastering?

I like it. Took me back to the 70s. Reminded me of Blue Oyster Cult and also Sabbath.

Thanks Kerry. There is very little doubt that Sabbath is and always will be my main influence. But the Blue Oyster Cult made some very good music too. So Ill take that comparison any day...

Sorry for the late response. Everything I used was a tune tracks model. I scanned through them to find the best sounds sonically for the guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. Including the mastering. You can use more compression on them but I tend to use the presets with minor adjustments. Two songs were old school miced in front of a peavy tube amp because I needed feedback on the guitars. Those needed compression and sound gates. Otherwise direct input play and later select the best guitar and vocal models for the parts. Of course all of the vocals were recorded dry in the best sound proof setting I could rig then made wet later.
