How do you people hang it, standing up playing?

I got curious as to how people have their guitar positioned when in a strap standing up playing.

So please explain how you got your guitar hanging, or even better post a photo of it.

Here's how I hang it, pretty close to how it is positioned when sitting down, which I actually prefer to standing up:

Mine is hanging very similar to yours. Maybe 2 or 3 cm lower. I always play standing up. Tried a lot of different strap length. For my picking hand having the guitar lower, like on hip height, is very comfortable. But this puts too much strain on the fretting hand's wrist and makes barre chords on higher frets impossible. Also I had some minor issue with my wrist lately so I moved the guitar up again. Now I'll leave it like that.

Kinda similar to how Angus Young plays it :dude:

I would love to know how some guys play with the guitar slung way down low. It hurts my wrist. It does looks cool though.

    I play the same way.

As long as it's not from a noose there's still hope.

Usually play sat down, but when I stand, I have it slung so the pickups are at hip height. A bit lower than might be comfy, but you have to make sacrifices to look cool!
