:hmm: Yes, I was confused too, and nearly skipped past it...

But after a read of the description, I have to applaud the seller for his ingenuity :applause:

I bet @Raiyn would like this...

Who knows, might have a bid myself - would make a great experimental modding platform

What's that about having to shim the neck, to go top wrapping on a TOM ?

Not entirely certain, I could ask the question on ebay and see what he says...?

Unless it's because the strings were hitting the back of the TOM? But a top wrap would avoid that on its own wouldn't it? :hmm:

It's not like he's asking a lot for it, so maybe he's trying to drum up some interest with the 'guitar muggles' in ebayland :D

I'll give him points for attempting the rescue and the methodology, but as Doc said: shimming & top wrap? :wtf:

From the looks of the photos, the stoptail and the TOM are both raised a little - surely it's easier to drop the stoptail to topwrap?

Or, he had to raise the neck because (as is likely with Epiphone) the neck and body are from two different factories and weren't quite of the same dimensions...?

    That would seem plausible....:hmm:

They are two different models of guitar after all?

A top wrapped Epiphone? What could go wrong with that?
