I always thought SGs needed binding so ...

    That Ricky looks great but it was the black Fender aerodyne Strat that got me going.

    I've wondered what an SG would look like with binding for a while. I can't say I'm a fan though now that I've seen it. It kind of makes it look like theres no contouring. But to each his own

    There isn't much contouring on it anyways which made it easy to do. If it was a heavier bevelled edge it wouldn't have been possible.

    Looks great, from afar, but upclose it looks ify. I would have a professional paint the line around it and it will look awsome! Great work I might add. That is a difficult thing to paint on evenly and consistently. I saw one years ago with it painted on and immediately wanted to do it too.

    These pics were taken early on in the process and I agree it looks a bit rough but I've tidied it up a lot now. With this one I basically wanted to get the idea of what it would look like and I learned a lot from it.
