    V 1, you're quite right!:thumb:

There was a story that Mark Knoffler had contacted 'ole Billy about getting a certain tone for his Money for Nothing song. The story goes that he was advised to use just that. A waw, with it being backed off a bit, to get that nasal tone that came out with that tune. I tend to believe that too as I've reproduced that tone in the same manner.

lets clear up one thing though,

THe SHOD is not a clone of the Bear Foot Honey Bee.

From the designer and maker himself , on both

Bjorn Juhl Interview: Tales of Mad Professor & BearFoot FX

Bear foot is his 4th, aka after Mad Professor, and is Bjorn's new 'boo teak' brand.

The SHOD was based on the old BJF Flametop, and was a Honey Bee like OD. But, ultimately, both are the same man's design.

The NEW Bear Foots started in 2011.

I'm a huge fan of "budget friendly" pedals! I have the Sweet Baby and Ultimate Drive currently and I'm expecting the Deluxe Crunch to be on my front porch when I get off work! I can't say enough good things about the ones I've tried. Really looking forward to the DC, I'm hoping it's a bit brighter then the UD. I love that thing, but it definitely leans toward the dark side.

I recently got the Joyo Vintage Overdrive. The JF-01 model I got is just wonderful. This thing was real cheap as well. It does not sound cheap at all! Very nice OD without nasty electrical noise in the circuit is what I'm impressed by the most by this pedal.

My board is all cheap pedals: 4 x Joyo, 1 x Artec and 1 x Biyang. They all work great and sound great. :)

My Danelectro Daddy-O never leaves my pedalboard, I love how it soungs when playing through big amp stacks.

Many other guys listen to me and say "hey man you're getting the precise tone tony iommi used in the album".

Wish I could play like him, though ;)

I don't know what to expect. I just want the enclosure. The tone label on it is to close to the hole and will probably be obscured by the knob. (Trademark on Obscured by the Knob band name.) and if it doesn't say OverDirve I'm going to be pissed!

Those pots, unless there's a daughter board or the tabs bend, will cause the circuit board to stand right up out of the enclosure.

There are a lot of questions to be answered.

I haven't seen it yet. I'm hoping it gets here soon. I've had to try and forget about it or else the anticipation is going to kill me.
