.........How come he couldn't play both necks of a double neck guitar at the same time? He has 2 feet doesn't he?

Oh yea, says you! Just kidding. I love almost all classic rock, especially anything with strong guitar presence. When I'm listening, it doesn't matter if they stole/borrowed everything.

Truth be told Jimmie certainly is a monster player, but really Jimmie, enough with the show off stuff and give us a dose of real guitarmenship. Back in the day, I payed $23 for a ticket and expected more.

Being serious for a moment, that is what is all about. By any account, JP is a friggen god in the guitar world.

I have an mp3 collection on cd in my car. Some music I feel I must be in the mood to enjoy it. Led Zep music puts me in the mood to listen to it. Whenever I hear "Hey hey what can I do", I'm smiling by the time it's over. That's my favorite driving song I think. There are a bunch of others that come close. I have wide musical interests that I won't get into.

Jimmy did some great recordings. Live, not so much. Great stuff for a road trip.

I seem to be more of a fan since the documentary "It might get loud". I loved to so much, I bought the bluray.

I also think that he was great in studio, not onstage. Duane Allman allegedly walked out of LZ concert. But Led Zeppelin I? Hard rock/blues guitar never sounded better. Realize the group had to experiment and grow, but that first LP was their best.

Page was a great player, not so much live...but that kinda goes for the whole band. He was a genius behind the scenes too...including most of LZ stuff.......hell he's on all the hits of the 60's including some of The Monkees as a session guitarist (john Paul Jones too). In total....he is a genius.

Sorry, never been a fan. He, and zep in general, never caught ahold of my head and heart like other bands did. Respect, yes. Like, not so much.
