It seems to me yes, but I find the layer logo, in a weird position, what you think?
It is a genuine SGJ. Knobs are replaced, the rest seems original. Not sure about black plastic tuners.
Not a Junior.
It's a legit 2013 SGJ.
An SGJ is basically a 24-fret SG Special Faded without a batwing.
A guy sell it at 450 €, and I thinking of buying it
That's not a bad price assuming it has no issues (neck straight, no cracks in the critical areas).
Thanks guys, I"ll start a negotiation and we'll see
this is 100% correct
I have the 2013 LPJ and it is a surprisingly good guitar. The SGJ has 490 R / T pickups so you can't go wrong with that!
I bought the LPJ used and it was like it had never been played, the setup was perfect. Such a great deal!
Beautiful looking guitar whatever it turns out to be, best of luck with the purchase
The guitar is genuine.
Gibson only made those for one year, 2013.
That year they had black tuners and the black plastic
pickup covers. 490R and 490T pickups are normal for
Lots of players could not understand black tuners and black pickup covers, so Gibson kept making the SGJ but
installed "normal" snot-green tuners and coverless pickups on the 2014 model.
That makes your guitar very cool and special. Personally I believe that the Black Tuners and pickup covers are one of the coolest details Gibson ever came up with. I think it
looks great, very menacing. The fact that Gibson only made those for one year, and they installed Tone Pros black tuners (one of the best ever) means that the instrument is quite unique. I ended up finding black tuners and black pickup
covers (metal) for my SG special, because I liked the look so much.
I would love to have one. 450 Euros seems like a very
fair price, IMHO.
The SGJ makes for a great husk to refinish and configure to your own specs.
yup, 2013 SGJ.
good platform to make it look '70s'
That's a good-looking SGJ! 450 is a decent price if it's in the condition it looks like it's in.
