If not the greatest, no doubt the most heard Texas Swing guitar of all time. Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys didn't know when to quit, thank goodness. I steal some of my best rock licks from Jerry.(I bought my first guitar from Tiny Moore!)

Hello Biddlin. Tonopah here. I just happened upon this SG site and saw this post about Jerry Jewett's Epi Zephyr Regent. Blew my mind.

I had never heard of Jerry Jewett before about two years ago, when I bought an old framed photo of a country western swing band in an antique shop. The band was fronted by Tommy Duncan, and several of his backup band members were visible in the photo. The guitarist was Jerry Jewett, and he was playing this same exact guitar in the photo! Except since then, someone has obviously put a P-90 pickup on it, which, for all I know, may have been the original pickup for that guitar. My friend Deke Dickerson told me he saw the same exact guitar at a swap meet in Southern California. Must have been this same guitar, no? I would love to show you that photo with Jerry playing that guitar, but the file is too large to attach here. Maybe you can send me your email address, and I can reply and include the photo as an attachment.

    Welcome to ETSG!

That info is so cool. I am hoping we can see the pic. History on a specific guitar is really great. Not many take the time to stop and think about that aspect of famous or near famous guitars...........
