Very cool guitar .
I found this one in a closet at my parent's house - I'd forgotten about it!

It's got some issues, wiring wise - and the jack is broken.
It's gonna get the mod treatment this summer. I will yank out all the electronics - then turn it into a 1 pickup rock machine with a FilterTron style bridge pickup or a P90 with volume and tone and I'll have some kind of pickguard made (big SG double batwing style) in anodized gold. Add a Bigsby, too!
Something like this:

Two Gibby's, Two Epi's....
Yeah Cream SG is lovely
I think this is my favorite look for an SG. Always liked cream colored guitars! What a beauty.
Thank you. This Sg had chrome hardware and black pickguard / knobs.
Well, I ordered new pots, caps, jack and switch from Jonesyblues. Prewired for easy installation. Can't wait to hear the difference!
Epi G310. ROCK solid and RIPPINGLY awesome!
New parts are in! Jonesyblues sure knows what he's doing! The old girl sounds great now!
Here is my 2004 MIK Epi SG Bobby Sue...and hanging out with her big sister, '71 Gibson SG Billie-Jo...
If you look closely you can see her 16 year-old cousin Ellie-May, a Gibson Flying V, in her reflection
Those Korean cherries sure do have a deep hue to them. They are some of the best hues of the Epiphone cherry SGs.
Is it heavy ? Mine was almost in LP territory.
I'm posting my Ice Tea G400 again cuz nobody else here has one... nanny nanny boo boo! She's of the Chinese persuasion and has no veneer body faces. 2 piece.
That's a beauty right there !
About to pour me a large glass of Iced Tea
Its on par with my Gibson '71 SG...but not as heavy as my 2005 LP Flametop...no weight relief in that.
I'd love to play any one of those Korean cherries...
