I'm buying a new Limited Edition 50th Anniversary 1961 SG, and I'm contemplating a Maestro Vibrola short version. Looking to see if anyone here has done this, and if the vibrola is compatible without any major modifications (besides the three screw holes). I tried to post links to both products but the site wouldn't let me. Thanks!

I would think all you need is to drill the theee holes.

I own three of them. Great mod platforms I say go for it, but I'd probably go bigsby-type trem myself.

I've also been thinking about adding a Vibrola to my Epi SG Special 50th Anniversary. Did all Vibrola-equipped SG Specials come with the short version, or did any have the full Lyre cover type?
