I can just see this guy, home alone, wife and kids gone on holiday, bored out of his gourd, a few brown ales under his belt, "I've got a hell of an idea for a mod I can have done before morning. I'll just grab the Elmer's, it's off to the lathe, flip the wing and glue it. I'm brilliant! The wife's gonna be so surprised...."

Whatever it was was pretty strong stuff.
Don't kill me, but I kind of like it. If it was done better.

Thats a doozey~! Look closely at the mirror type pick guard, its hanging
over the side about a half inch, LOL.
i put a small devil sticker on my pickguard of my angus sg & thought i was gonna have a stroke....and that dude SPENT 300.00 on that one...LOL

Certainly not a hopeless case if it's getting refinished but, why? I mean let's get that neck joint fit and glued up....and what are those holes going all the way through for? It's vintage and screaming for someone to put it back in shape:

As far as home brewed neck repairs go that is remarkably slick. Could be a whole lot worse.
