I have lots of ideas swirling around in my head for this new area on the board. Lots of details to work out, but in the mean time, I'd like to welcome aboard our newest members. If you've joined us here say since Thanksgiving, please take a few minutes to formally introduce yourself. Tell us about you, your hobbies, tell us about your gear, what type of music you enjoy....anything that you want us to know. If you wanna tell us your name, age, that kind of thing thats great; and if you aren't comfortable enough with us yet, we understand. We're just happy to have you here.....so pull up a chair, relax, and start talking!! ;)

Hi guys, thanks for having me, I just now saw this PM and already made my first post in the Samick SG's thread, under the SG Copies part of the forum. I think this is an amazing site, and have been looking for one like it for quite a long time. I actually found it in the past, but didn't see the forum link at the top and thought it might just be another site like fenderbronco.com which just has a tiny bit of information, and I'm not really sure why it exists. Anyway, from what I read as a guest, you guys seem like top notch folk, and I can't wait to pick your brains, whilst contributing my own information to answer questions of other forum members. My first guitar was an SG, an older Samick Artist Series Copy, but an SG. Down the road I plan on getting a real one if I don't end up buying a Junior one first.

Hi all, new member, old Gibson owner.
My name is Bob. I am a retired USN Senior Chief and I play Bass. I own a 2019 SG Standard Bass, a 1969 EB3 Bass, a 1993 Les Paul Standard, and a 1975 SG-1. I also own a gaggle of other brands of basses and guitars as well.
I do have one question. Does this site have an area for bass players? I am unable to play guitar due to limitations from 2 stroke 6 years ago which is why I moved to bass.
Ok that's enough old man rambling. Nice to meet you all.
