Beautiful pics Ess. And the digital mic really adds a lot.

(To bad we can't get some of these Tech Pics into a section, place, location or what ever and I think it could end up being the definitive tech location for specific information.

    CONFLICTING INFO!! HELP!!

.....most places say that the mini bucker is a drop in replacement for the p90, but when dimensions are posted the mini-hum comes up smaller.

is it that the rings take up the extra space?

The slug coil on the mini looks like a Bill Lawrence coil! Didn't he work with Gibson for a while?

oh yes it is Esstimondo, yes it is....i would have made the best of it sure, but i wasn't really wanting to putt strat pups in the MM....or stacked. would have been interesting to see what the tone was in the mohog though...

    Firebird vs minihumbucker differences chart

I finally got my act together on this one after hours of digging........been meaning to do this a long time!

Here's that chart I might of spoke of earlier:

On the top he sums it up, same bobbin, different magnets, iron loads and magnetic fields!
There are many differences besides the adjustable coil too, such as # of magnets, wire insulation, placement of magnets in the pickup, magnet size and gauss, pole pieces and spacing, bottom plate size and I'm sure you get the idea......... but upon first glance they look very similar.

 Thanks Seymour wherever you are
