Figured I'd show pics of my Carvins.

First is a DC600 in Aquaburst. This is one of my main gigging guitars. SS frets and a super fast neck. It has coil splitting options and every tone is amazing. The floyd rose is equipped with a D-Tuna for Drop D tuning in less than a second. This pic is before I added the D-Tuna.

Next, a DC200 in BlueBurst. This one has coil splitting and a phase switch. Also has active electronics. Larger neck on this one but still plays super fast with very low action.

I bought a DC200 Koa from Carvin when I graduated from Fort Benning in 1986. It was the most beautiful hunk of solid flamed/curly/birdseye Koa one could imagine. It played better than anything I've yet owned and I've had dozens of guitars since. Sadly it was stolen in the early 90's. Yours look great! Carvins are amazing guitars yet wildly overlooked. Hell, I even saw Roy Clark with a DC200 Koa not long after I got mine! He knew a good guitar when he played one.

When I first started looking at buying an electric, I was really GASing for an SH550. Never happened.

When I was young, Carvin guitars were one of the chick magnet brands. Very good guitars too. I wanted a Carvin or Jackson so bad! Never happened v2.

I used to have a solid Koa TL60. Regret selling it.
