Thanks. The tele is a plain Jane mim but it plays nice. The harmony I have set up in open D for slide, not that I can play slide but it's fun trying.

    Not for sale.
A special thing I built for my wife. 6.5 acres with 500' footage on the water, we bought for a song. Old man who owned it liked us, the rest is history. Designed the cottage, built it over one summer with a friend.

    Fookin' unbeleivable spot !

This is from a last summer, and I've posted it somewhere on these boards before,
but it's always fun to show off... I used to have 11 guitars and basses, so I took this photo.
Then I gave the old Classical guitar away to my nephew. It was my father's, now it belongs
    to my sister's son.

So let's see: Snow White, a 2006 MIM Fender '72 Tele Deluxe replica... Skeeter, a 2006 Epiphone Wilshire replica...
April, a 2012 SG special '70s Tribute... Luna, a 2007 SG faded special... Amber, 1975 Mossman Flint Hills dred...
    Rosebud, a 1936 Martin 0-17... Number Nine, a 2006 Martin XC1T... my father's old German made Classical...
Raven, a 1997 Squier Precision Bass (completely rebuilt and upgraded)...
Luretta, a 2009 Warmoth fretless Jazz Bass assembled and finished by me...
...and Sluggo, my 1966 Fender Jazz Bass
    whole group@100.jpg
And then there were ten. But I just gave in to the G.A.S. and bought myself a new Epiphone ES-339 P-90 pro,
and have been enjoying that one a lot. She has no name as yet, but has own thread in the 'other guitars' section.

we've had threads about 'naming the instrument'... it's very subjective. some of us
like to name our steeds, and others are more matter of fact or practical about them...
there's room for all of us at this festival.

To me, the name may suggest itself quite plainly at a time of its own choosing.
Old Sluggo was Sluggo right away, and Amber went for years and years as my main guitar
and had no name. None suitable. Nothing fit. Better to go naked than wear something that
doesn't fit. I tried names on her and they slid right off. *laughs

Then one day, I was looking at how amber her varnish had become, and I realized that her name
had always been Amber. Like duh... And I just realized that my new Epiphone's name might
    truly be "99."
