I happy, all upgrades are done. [IMG] [IMG]

I had problem with tuner screws I drilled at 1mm but that' s not enough. A 1,5mm drill bit works perfectly, screws are 2 x 11 mm.
I have to install a set of strings (Elixir) and notch Gibson ABR-1 saddles.
Black adapters are fine on the Trans Ebony finish, invisible ;)

The Classic '57 humbuckers sound killer, Fantastic!

Neck profile is like a 60's slim taper and the fretboard is wider at the nut side. Very comfortable and easy profile.
With the new KLUSON Revolution tuners my SG is very well balanced.

Headstock top, TUSQ XL nut is well made.

Nice. As long as it's got a fat neck, Antiquities, good 50s wiring and grovers I'm happy.

Walnut sg with small pickguard is the most beautiful sg i think. Sucks that its kind of hard to get

That's a very interesting project! Thanks for posting and telling us
    all about it.

I too think that the grain and finish on your SG are awesome.
The 2015s were outstanding in how lovely they are to look at.
And now that you've got your guitar with all the features you want,
you've got the best of everything.

One of the reasons the 2015s were unpopular is that Gibson didn't offer
the buyer any choices. There was a lot of scathing anti-Gibson commentary
going on during that model year's production... Personally I found it tiresome.
If Gibson had offered a menu of features to the buyer they would have sold
a lot more 2015s IMHO. It's a perfect thing for a computer to do: take orders
from a menu and organize them for the factory to make.

Anyway, yours looks like a million, and with your favorite upgrades it's
the guitar of a lifetime. Hard to beat.

The KLUSON Revolution tuners are awesome, high ratio, light weight, high precision, smooth action, perfect machine heads with a cool vintage design.

The GraphTech TUSQ XL adjustable nut give a nice classic style, killer
