I went to the local GC and for so reason I was looking at basses instead of guitars and this bass caught my attention. I have not played bass in a long time. I started on bass back in the day, so it was a matter of time until it called me again. The Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass called and I answered. It felt really good. It is very ergonomic and has a very cool tone. A Jazz Bass fan my self, the option of a PJ made it very appealing. So I played it and I took it home. Everything is good but I can not help but to change a few things just to make a really cool looking bass even cooler. I changed the bridge to a Hipshot high mass and been considering replacing the knobs. Hey had tons of fun setting it up. I don’t get to do that very often now a day.

The originals are best. Speed knobs are a non-starter because there is not enough room between adjacent controls. The black domes are just dull.
