No, it isn't the controller for the next "Guitar Hero" type video game...

I have it on good authority, that this is the all new, semi hollow, Gibson N-225...

What, the vibrola's not "basic" enough?
    :dunno::naughty::squint:

not to mention they didn't put it close enough to the bridge.

Surprized they missed the 24 fret neck on that one.

Ha, i didn't even notice that.

My bad, poor wording.I think they need to stop making crazy (IMO) guitars and go back to focusing on the guitars that they built their company on over the past 60 years, and focusing on QC.

Been racking my brains... "where have I seen that body shape before?"

    Then it hit me!

    "Westone Thunder", anyone?

I agree, I was being sarcastic; Gibson, as much as I love many of their guitars, often brings out the worst in me with their marketing foolishness.

Gibson usually had decent enough QC - it's the R&D that seems lacking.

This is as much as I have, right now...

It can be ordered already! MSRP is 2332 USD (???!!!!) and that the Kramer team was involved in the design, together with one of the Gibson Custom signature artists.

I think the electrics are the same as the BFG Les Paul... I'll check, though...

My prediction: a sales flop... and there will be a Chinese made, Epiphone version by this time next year - selling for 250USD :-)

No chance!!! Gibson's overseas pricing usually means that the dollar symbol just gets changed to Euro/£/whatever and the figures stay the same! :hmm:

Maybe those guitars are heavily discounted because they're not moving and, at the end of the day, Gibson want to shift their stock to make way for their new aberration. What sort of price can you find on a Les Paul '59 reissue - and how much is that discounted?

The Midtown Custom is a Megaseller, BTW

It is less, but still similar, even with the expensive Custom-Shop models....
    Nobody pays MSRP !
