Gibson Melody Maker Michael Clifford Signature
Man, that looks awesome
Really cool! Apparently the toggle switch is a kill switch. Love the red grain filler showing under the black finish. There's one on Reverb, here's close up:
Funny story, I actually ordered that one in for a customer that backed out. Cool guitar, nonetheless.
We recently had to shut down due to a shelter in place order for COVID-19, and I’ve been getting a lot more time for video games and SGs so I’m not complainin’.
Cool Gibson MM, the finish is like the SG Voodoo
Looks just like a voodoo.
I used to have this Melody Maker.
Now it's mine! Double YAZ!!
This is my '78 Melody Maker D reissue, modded with humbuckers. Getting ready to install a Dirty Fingers in the bridge. Has a '57 classic in the neck position. Great guitar! And getting harder and harder to find wood like they used in the 70's and earlier Gibson's. I paid $150 for this, in 1988, at Eugene's Guitars in Dallas. and picked up a gen III Chainsaw case for $50 while I was at it.
