Here is a set I had wound to almost those exact specs with 42 gauge wire.

Hot, but very one trick pony, imo.
    Pardon the sirens and alarms.

$360 for the set in antique chrome.

I find it funny how they don't come out and say they made those for Angus.. he must be too busy drinking tea to sign the licensing agreements.

A sinister looking Biddlin finally cracks a big smile in the last few seconds... :wow:

That sounded real nice. A ton of sustain there. :dude:

I find BKs pricing way over the top.

Not BK's, these are from Seymour Duncan's custom shop department. These can be ordered with a few other options, too. You can get a set of standard production hunbucking SD'S for $150 to $250. Custom shop sets start well above $300. Hell... a set of SD'S Silver Series Zephyr's has a street price of $1,000...:wow:

For a grand, it better have a motor and wheels...

I'd rather spend a grand on guitar lessons than on pickups. They only pickup what you put down.

Silver is less than $20/ounce. There's about 1/2 ounce on a pickup coil, so I still say you're being ripped off.

Man that sounds like my wife every time I suggest a new guitar for the family.
