Im playing lead using the neck pickup on my g400 with 12-56 and a peavy 110 amp, clean- lots of mids. My friend is playing rythm on my kick ass modified squire strat with a p94 in the bridge and a control bypass switch that gives the pickups a very unique tone. Hes using a Crate GFX15, with lots of mids. I was recording this with my phone in a garage, so the quality sucks. My friend is genuinly losing his mind and its heartbreaking. I hope he can receive mental health treatment that will bring him back to reality. This was the last thing we recorded together about a coupke weeks ago at 5am as the sun came up over Chimney Peak Mountain and the Talledega National forest which is behind my back yard.

Here is another one, me just jamming solo with a slide and my diy archtop acoustic.
Lots of mistakes amd not as enthrallimg as I'd lime it to be but slide almost never fails to garner lots of public attention amywhere I play. Luckily its the easiest way for me to play, I learned slide first.

Open G, with flatwounds 13-54 or 56s(one or the other I cant remember). Roundwound are harder on the fingers and they are much brighter, whereas the flatwounds have a very smooth sound and feel- not much growl like you get with roundwounds. All my playing is 100% fingerpicking using 2 to 4 fingers at a time.

Thanks! People seem to dig my acoustic stuff more than my electric stuff but no one wants to check out my album of raw recordigs- still sounds cleaner than say Robert Johnson or Charlie Pattons recordings.

    Thanks for the sentiment!

Its a shame we/I cant record with the bassist and drummer becuase it overloads the cell phone microphone and sounds much worse than two guitars which barely overload it if we keep the volume around 4-6. Also doesnt work at parties or bars, too much background noise- the recording comes out horribly crackly, overdriven, rendering indestinguishable and unpalatable.
