After initially being skeptical about the "lightning bolt" wraparound bridge, it has now become my favourite style. I was worried that it would be impossible to intonate properly, but as long as it been mounted in the correct spot the grub screws allow it to be dialed in well. The fact that there are no moving parts means that it transfers tone very well with no rattling. They can buzz a bit after awhile though, so I'm quite interested in that Frankentone one that The Dr. mentioned.

I found that part when looking up wilkinson wraparound bridge on Google, seems like the reverb seller had buffed the etched logo off. That design actually has been updated by the one with the adjustable G and B saddle. I am going to try to stick with my lightning bridge and dial it in perfect once I get around to modding the bushings.

I also top wrap when I set up most of the time, it slackens the tension a little imo

I like either option of bridge hardware better than any tremolo or string through body bridge. If the guitar has a TOM bridge (abr/nashville/metric etc.) then I prefer a stopbar over having a trapeze, TP6, bigsy or other tailpiece.

I found the intonation on this lightning bridge a bit more off than I expected in comparison to my 2019 DC Junior, however I did not take the time to tweak it yet. However, I did adjust the P90s and believe they hit their sweet spots!

Watch out for a P90 overdose there

I could never make that one work, with the adjstable G&B. Look where the low E are relatively one to the other. When you try to back off the Wilkinson, it almost falls off the posts. It might work on some guitars, but on my Epi, nada.

Ironically, there was one like this on ebay today that I saw about to end, a few minutes left and it was sitting at $230 or so. I didn't really know what it was and went off to research it, decided not to because I'm still in the process of selling a guitar and my one-in-one-out policy would be violated. Sounds like I passed on a great deal.

And of course, my guitar sold about an hour later.

Excuse my fat fingers, did this froggy take last night its all the neck pickup of the SG dimed after 40 seconds in, felt like there was no time in the track to mess with settings I thought about it though

Good playing, solo fitted perfectly over the backing track. Nothing to criticize. Very good job!!
