NGD! 1961 Special

That's the way my uncle taught me as a young'un. Another way is to simply have the string start on the top of the wrap when the tuner's got a full turn of string around it and bring it down back to the bottom part of the tuner. I tried it once, but I just didn't like the look.

 

Congrats on the SG '61. I got one as a Father's Day gift back in 2011 when they first came out. Still have it, and will NEVER sell it!
