Can't really tell at this point but I will probably be fine with them. They are certainly different from the Gibson Iommis in my other guitar and I will have to adjust the presets I did in my Boss Gt-1.

Um...now thanks :) This SG already is as shiny and blingy as it gets for me.

A 2011 SG in Bullion Gold, SamAsh limited or special run. Also available in Pelham Blue/Chrome hrdw[IMG] SGgarden2.jpg YGM3.JPG . Only thing I changed were the knobs. Spec sheet is on my old drive awaiting transfer. IIRC this has 490/498 pups. I wanted PB but this was available new at a nice price. A friend found it on his travels and had it shipped to me.

Beautiful! That is a rare colour for an SG I guess.
I wish Gibson would put their special run SGs on their website. It's hard to find the exact specs, especially for not so recent models.

Congrats on the beautiful Pelham Blue SG. Chicago Music Exchange has been doing some exclusive SG colors for a year now. Some cool colors. Head to their website and search for Gibson SG CME and they'll pull up. I think the Olive Drab is my favorite.

I agree that pelham blue is what drove me to buy my 2017 Firebird or as I like to call it my SG in Firebird clothing ( it's not a neck through and has humbuckers)

I as well have a 2017 Pelham Blue with 57 Classic pups. It's a beautiful instrument & a killer player. I wouldn't swap out anything on your's. The Grover locking tuners are a blessing that a lot of Standards don't get.
Leave her as is you'll be glad you did.

Wow...I always thought Gibson is way to conservative regarding colors on SGs. Indeed the Olive Drab is very nice (reminded me of the ESP LTD Viper in military green). Unfortunately we will probably never see one of these rare SGs here in Germany.

Yes, I probably will. I am very happy with them so far.

An interesting piece of information I read while browsing the Gibson forums: a '2' at the end of the model number identifies a 'factory second'. But Gibson allegedly stop doing this in the 80s.
