Can't get to it before Saturday AM, I asked the seller to save it for me. Crossing my fingers he will.

G400 Vintage, one from 2003/2004, high-output designed in the U.S.A. pickups, no veneer, no scarf joint, gold logo. The best G400 available out there. I should know, I already have one.

Comes with a Roland Cube 30. If I flip the amp, the SG will come to $100CAD or less.

If it's like my cherry red, it should look great.

Is there something wrong with Epiphone's idea of the scarf joint?

After so many posts I've seen that lambaste Gibson for the 17 degree
back angle and the weak point in the mahogany, I've attributed Epiphone's
scarf joint as a quiet way to improve strength of the neck in that area,
while still maintaining the traddie back angle and keeping awesome tone.

Imagine if Gibson attempted this 'improvement..."
    *laughs
But my favorite Epi has a very visible scarf joint
and the tone is awesome. I have not seen any reason to disparage
this. But I have not subjected my lovely Epi neck to any stress tests
to prove whether or not the joint can take it.

I don't think I will. Hence my question to you.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the subject.
And congratulations too, for finding a great deal on a
fine instrument and (imho a very cool amp).

I play bass through a CB-60XT, and it does everything
    I need.

Absolutly not, on the contrary. I was just listing differences between this SG and the mill of the run G400. As a matter of fact, the one I have had it's headstok broken. Looks like they wanted to get as close as possible the 1962 Gibson SG. It was only missing 3° at the headstock tilt and the open book.

    Here's how they advertised it.

Where do you put the guitar when you have a 1½ hour drive to come back home ? I put it on the passenger seat to ogle it on the way. Almost pornographic, with the snake skin strap.

I never named a guitar, but maybe I should namethis one ... Lady Of The Road

Congrats, that sure is purty... Happy NGD to ya!

I usually don't name mine either, although the kids named one of the strats Butters. It has a creamy aged white/yellow look to it.

No no Dr!!! Very dangerous driving hazard - unless of course your car is self-drive. :D Hope you didn’t get a ticket for her not wearing her seatbelt. That’s some serious purty!
