Awful guitar. You should get rid of it immediatly. Kannada is a good place to send these flat colored guitars. Eastern Kannada especially. I can provide an address where it will be pampered and welcomed.

I like the veneer on this one. And it's even straight! Hope you enjoy it man, they're great guitars.

I am obsessive. The frets are leveled. It is SHINY. Consider the warranty VOID! Pics to come.

Well damn. That is how you setup a guitar and make it yours.

How many times have you leveled and crowned frets RVA? I did it for the first time on an All-Parts neck and I think I did an okay job lol. I really couldn't tell if I did the crowning right.

I leveled about 8 guitars. Then, I got new tools and learned some new skills, so I went back and re-leveled about 7 of them. So about 15.

Well damn. For the leveling what technique do you use? Mark the frets with a sharpie and lightly sand with a beam?

What kind of crowning file are you using? As a rookie I went with the standard 3-1 type you can get from Stew-Mac or Amazon.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that uses my washer as a hardware staging area.

I've got a beam and the 3-1 file...and the Stew-Mac fret-leveler...and that's about it. I think I need a magnifying glass to check the crowning job I did on the tele neck...I can't feel anything wrong with them, but I haven't actually connected it to body and strung it up as of yet.

6 straight hours quick. I really do love this stuff. I was like a kid who had to color the whole book in one night, or pop all the bubble wrap or eat all the candy. It is like a great book I cannot put down because I must see how it turns out!

I think you should play it and see how it is. You can always re-do it if you have to.
